The rectory at Nesset

Bjørnstjerne BjørnsonDiscover the childhood home of the famous Norwegian writer Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, who was awarded the Nobel Prize of Literature in 1903.

Seven of the present buildings date back to Bjørnson's time. We offer guided tours of the museum and you can also do a historical culture walk to Prestneset, Prestaksla and the Bjørnsonstien path on your own.
